The Eyes Of the Beholder

A poem as lovely as a tree

Takes a vision of what each can be

Heavenward reaching clear and free

Birds from its top the world to see

A poem reaches beyond the sky

Can let even the blind see why

The soul has comfort in Jesus love

Imagines beauty of heaven above

Dove sleeps on a trees long arm

Builds a nest away from harm

Food abounds, the dove can see

A perfect place for it's home to be

Each presenting all views sublime

Sweet pleasure in passing of time

Viewing grandeur of a great pine

Seeing in verse, a world divine

Both exhibiting for all to share

Displaying Gods beauty everywhere

Minds occupied in Godly thought

Home for man our Christ bought
