What you do or say
If Jesus came to your church today;
Would you be friendly,
Shake his hand or have very much to say?

Would you dress as usual
Your apparel be pleasing
Knowing Jesus will be there
Or dressing special just for this reason?

Would you act any differently
At worship service today
Focus your heart and mind on God
Allowing your thoughts not to stray?

Would you go to church late
And miss studying God's word
Or would you be there on time
Wanting only to be seen or to be heard?

Would you sing songs of praises
Unto God any differently today
Would the words touch your heart
And would you love what they'd say?

Would you be excited about communing
Around the Lord's table today
Or would you be ashamed.....
For you no longer partook and you've strayed?

Would you be ashamed of your contribution
Giving as you've prospered today
Freely and cheerfully.....
Or Perhaps as you always do anyway?

Would you bow with reverence
As the saints prayed today
Thanking God for his many blessings
That have come your way?

When worship service finally ends
On this special memorable day
Would you be first to embrace Jesus
And ask him to please visit again soon,...someday?
