VI. DOES ONE HAVE TO BE A MEMBER OF THE
CHURCH TO BE SAVED?
Acts 2:47: "Praising God, and having favour with all
the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved."
Acts 20:28: "Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and
to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the
church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood."
Eph. 1:22, 23: "And hath put all things under his
feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the
fulness of him that filleth all in all."
Eph. 5:23-27: "For the husband is the head of the
wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands
in every thing. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave
himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the
word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle,

VII. CAN ONE BE SAVED IN ANY CHURCH?
Eph. 4:4, 5: "There is one body, and one Spirit, even
as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism."

James 4:13-16: "Go to now, ye that say, To day or to
morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get
gain: Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a
vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. For that ye ought to
say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that. But now ye rejoice in your
boastings: all such rejoicing is evil. Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth
it not, to him it is sin."
Prov. 27:1: "Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou
knowest not what a day may bring forth."
John 9:4: "I must work the works of him that sent me,
while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work."
Matt. 24:35-39; 42-44: "Heaven and earth shall pass
away, but my words shall not pass away. But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not
the angels of heaven, but my Father only. But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the
