I. IS THE BIBLE SUFFICIENT TO SAVE?
2 Tim. 3:14, 15: "But continue thou in the things
which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee
wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus."
2 Peter 1:2,3: "Grace and peace be multiplied unto you
through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
According as his divine power hath given unto us all things
that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to
glory and virtue."
Jude 3: "Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write
unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you
that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the
saints..."
John 8:31, 32: "Then said Jesus to those Jews which
believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall
know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
John 6:63:"It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh
profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are

John 12:48: "He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not

II. IS SALVATION FOR ALL?
Rev. 22:17: "And the Spirit and the bride say, Come.
And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will,
let him take the water of life freely."
Matt. 11:28-30: "Come unto me, all ye that labour and
are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I
am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy,
and my burden is light."
2 Peter 3:9: "The Lord is not slack concerning his
promise, as some men count slackness; but is long-suffering to us-ward, not willing that
any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."
1 Tim. 2:3, 4: "For this is good and acceptable in the
sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the

James 4:8: "Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to

III. WON'T EVERYBODY BE SAVED?
Matt. 7:13: "Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide
is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go
in thereat:"
Matt. 7:21-23: "Not every one that saith unto me,
Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my
Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not
prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many
wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye
that work iniquity."
Gal. 1:8: "But though we, or an angel from heaven,
preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be
accursed."
Gal. 5:19-21: "Now the works of the flesh are
manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry,
witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings,
murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have
also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom
of God."
Gal. 6:7, 8: "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for
whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of
the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life
everlasting."
Hebrews: 10:28-31: "He that despised Moses' law died
without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye,
shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted
the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done
despite unto the Spirit of grace? For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto
me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. It is a
fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God."
Hebrews 2:1-3: "Therefore we ought to give the more
earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.
For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience
received a just recompense of reward; How shall we escape, if we neglect so great
salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by
them that heard him;"
1 Cor. 6:9, 10: "Know ye not that the unrighteous
shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters,
nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor
covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of
God."
Rev. 21:8: "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the
abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars,
shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the
second death."
Rev. 22:18, 19: "For I testify unto every man that

Matt. 18:2, 3: "And Jesus called a little child unto
him, and set him in the midst of them, And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be
converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of
heaven."
John 8:24: "I said therefore unto you, that ye shall
die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins."
Mark 16:16: "He that believeth and is baptized shall
be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned."
John 12:42: "Nevertheless among the chief rulers also
many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they
should be put out of the synagogue: For they loved the praise of men more than the praise
of God."
Luke 13:3: "I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye
shall all likewise perish."
Acts 17:30: "And the times of this ignorance God
winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:"
John 3:3, 5: "Jesus answered and said unto him,
Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of
God. v5. Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water
and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God."
Luke 7:30: "But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the

V. QUESTION: HOW CAN A MAN BE SAVED?
John 1:12: "But as many as received him, to them gave
he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:"
Hebrews 11:6: "But without faith it is impossible to
please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder
of them that diligently seek him."
Acts 3:19: "Repent ye therefore, and be converted,
that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the
presence of the Lord;"
Acts 2:38: "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be
baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye
shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."
Romans 10:9, 10: "That if thou shalt confess with thy
mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the
dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with
the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
Acts 22:16: "And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be
baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord."
1 Peter 3:21: "The like figure whereunto even baptism
doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a
good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:"
Gal. 3:27: "For as many of you as have been baptized
into Christ have put on Christ."
Romans 6:3-6: "Know ye not, that so many of us as were
baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him
by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the
Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted
together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his
resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin
might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin."
1 Cor. 12:13: "For by one Spirit are we all baptized
into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been
all made to drink into one Spirit."
